create_resource.dev

Synopsis

create_resource.dev RID device [mbytes]

Description

Create a new resource using the given device. The new resource configuration is printed to stdout. For configuration options see the ibp_server documentations.

NOTE: The device is reformatted so all data is lost!!!

Options

RID

Resource ID to use for the device

dev

Physical device to use

mbytes

Maximum amount of data to use on the device in megabytes. This parameter is optional. The default is to use all available space.
