mount_resource

Synopsis

mount_resource [-f] device | rid.settings | [md_device data_device]

Description

Mount a resource. There are 3 methods to accomplish this. The most common method is to mount a device by providing the device entry. Alternatively the the metadata and data devices can be provided. The last option is the only way to mount a directory resource by providing the resource configuration.

Options

-f

Force mounting of MD partition and ignore import settings

device

Physical device to mount

md_device data_device

Mount the physical device using the provided disk partitions containin the metadata and data

rid.settings

Mount a directory or device resource using the provied configuation.
